A lovely photo of a tiny kitten on a domestic appliance?
Yes.
That's what they want you to think.
But what we're seeing here is the future.
And the future is bleak.
Think about it -
What can cats do that technology can't?
Due to the perculiar nature of the quantum phenomena of smell (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-21150046) electronic devices lack the abilities of organic receptors for the sensory identification of smells.
But kittens? -
Great sense of smell.
So, robots and kittens will soon be able to combine their talents to hunt humans in the coming technology wars.
Robots can use the electromagnetic spectrum - visible light, night vision, infra red - and auditory sensors - to locate humans for destruction.
Kittens will use their heightened sense of smell.
Why not use dogs? -
Dogs are too big to fit on these 'Roombas'.
Except Chihuahuas. But their incessant barking would give them away.
Once these 'Roomba' robots are armed with laser weapons we'll be doomed?
I mean, how would we defend ourselves? - Shoot at them?
Shoot at a kitten? What kind of person would do that?
You have been warned.
